Such is life at Michigan Tech for all of its students. A strong base of ideals and habits set down back in grade school is improved in the first year of college, and the finishing touches to aid them in attaining greater success in the future are effected in the sophomore year. In their striving for greater perfection in life, the class of 1964 has been guided by very fine class officers. President Steve Borg of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, has been assisted competently by vice-president Paul Becksvoort of Holland, Michigan, secretary Sandra, Rust of the Sault, and treasurer Eugenia Lutz, also of the American Sault. The great efforts and the sacrifice of time by the se people has been coordinated with excellent representation in student council by janet Maki and James Maclsaren, both of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. Supported by a strong base and high ideals, the sophomore class of 1964 express their thanks to their class officers for aiding them in establishing these ideals and standards for the future, not only for themselves, but for the sake of a stronger and freer nation which they will help to build. 20
