He is charged with the collection of student fees and with the disbursement of all money received by the State Board. Checks drawn on class and publication funds must be counter- signed by him. Financing of the boarding clubs and hians to students are transacted through his office. Jacob Schepers OFFICE OF REGISTRAR Miss Elida Yakeley has held the position of registrar since 1908, when that office was made a separate division. Figures for 1929 indicate a con- tinued growth in registration, with 3,138 enrolled in undergraduate, gradu;ite, and short courses. I u SECRETARY • OF THE COLLEGE The Secretary of the College is responsible for the execution of the budget under the direction of the State Board of Agriculture, and in general for all moneys expended by the College. He is custodian of all College property and buildings, and acts as Secretary for the State Board of Agriculture. In connection with the office of the Secretary, there is an Account- ing Department headed by the Comptroller. The duty of this division is to see that no depart- ments are allowed to overrun their budget and to carefully check on expenditures that seem unwise.
