First we see - f f SENIORS Heading the Senior Class as President this year was Paul Simmons. Helping him with his many tasks were Dave Brueekner, VicefPresidentg Har' riette Bliss, Secretary: and jim Weisgarher, Treasf urer. The class was represented on the Student Council hy Dave Stalder, Presidentg Tom Sharritts, and Arlene Overholser. There were many activities which diverted the seniors from their regular routine of school work. They attended the annual B. I. E. Day in Dayton. They received their longfawaited class rings along with pictures, announcements, and cards. In April . if ' .. H ,J M- , a !.' Y f . sf 'iq' .-- N A MOTTO nfl-'llOllQl'l ending, beginning still' COLORS Emerald Green and White FLOWER White Carnation Right: David Brueckner, Harriett Bliss, james Weisgarber, Paul Simmons. the class sponsored its play, Drums of Death, an exciting mystery. In May the seniors were entertained by the juniors at the JuniorfSenior Reception. The theme that dominated the evening was Disneyland. The following week the seniors had their prom. The advisors for the class were Mr. Heistand, Mr. Duffee, Mr. Roper, Mr. Shevelow, and Miss Ede. Doctor H. Grady Sholfner addressed the class at Baccalaureate. The top three members of the class, Sharon Donahue, Judy Uhrich, and Miriam Shoiff ner, spoke at commencement along with the guest speaker.
