Senior Class Numbering over one hundred students, the largest senior class on record at Miamisburg, completed an activity-packed year. The members played an important role in the success of the school in the field ot athletics. ln service to the school, the class again led the way for underclassmen. Seniors held key positions in virtually every maior organization. Two members of the class gave unlimited time and eiifort in the emcient operation of the visual aids program of the school. Included on the schedule for the year was the senior visitation of industry in Dayton on the annual B.l.E. Day. Seven seniors partici- pated in the Dayton Council on World Atifairs Tour to Washington and New York. Career con- ferences were also held during the year for the class. ln April, Double Door , a three-act mystery was presented as the class play, with Shirley Scheu, Nancy Brown, and Bill Starner cast in the leading roles. Graduation week was a full one, and the seniors decorated for the Prom, practiced for baccalaureate and commencement, and picnick- ed at Armco Park at Middletown. The climax of the year arrived on the night of May 27 when diplomas were awarded to the deserving senior class. Sandra Martz, Gloria Hottle, and David Hirst received the honors of ranking as the top three members of the class scholastically. ..'l4T
