Wie have tried faithfully to make it a reproduction of the life of old Miami of 1907-'08, The volume is the product of co-operation of labor of a large number of students. About twenty-five have made drawings for it and numerous are the contributors in other departments. The calendar editor suf- fered the misfortune of having some of her manuscript destroyed in the Hepburn llah Hre. ' VVe bequeath to the next Recensio Board the task of improving on our shortcomings and producing, a better volume than this. Wfe are grateful to Dr. Benton for the many forms of aid he has given to us, and to the Champlin Publishing Company for their many courtesies.
