MR. GENE G. PUMMELL University of Dayton B.S. Wright State Miami University M. S. in Education MR. RICHARD A. WILLIS Ohio State University B.S. in Education MR. PAUL FEBO Ohio State University B.S. Sound o£ Tttuaic A step on the sidewalk, a knock at the door, music full of suspense--all these bring a play to life. Sound effects help put both the actors and the audience in the mood of the play. Our Music Department does this for us at basketball and football games, pep rallies, assemblies, and the musical. Paint The mood of a play is set by the Art Department. If the setting is imaginative and creative, the whole play seems more realistic. Art is important in our school life, too. Mr. Volker and his students have made school a nicer place to study. MR. EDWARD F. VOLKER Ohio State University B. A. M. A.

Spoonful Suyan '' The Home Economics department's duties are many. Sewing, cooking, and grooming, are just a few. These duties can be compared to those of the wardrobe and make-up departments of a play. Sewing makes possible the actors' outfits, and grooming is used to make the make- up more realistic. Science Ifolcten' Even in a play the actors do not have all the knowledge at their finger tips. Problems will come up and answers will be needed be- yond their immediate knowledge. So it is with school. When stu- dents need answers to problems beyond their own textbooks, they go to the library for answers. MISS LIDA GRACE WISSLER Ohio State University M.S. MRS. BARBARA HINCHMAN Davis and Elkins B. A. Ohio University Ohio State University MR. EDWIN VALLEY Wittenburg University 'Ti JliAtte '2V6iCe Just as important as actors to a play are rehearsals. For through rehearsals the actors learn to identify their parts through the characters they are playing and will play in life, they gain ex- perience that will help them pursue their careers. The Choreography Department helps coordinate dance routines to fit a play. Thus, the thoughts of the actors can be expressed by their motions. The Physical Education Department develops skills which help students coordinate their thoughts and actions in their daily routines. MRS. JANET McCARTY Morehead State University B.A. MR.
