The student, in turn, learns to use the library more effectively and often expresses a satisfaction gained from participating in the daily library work program. Club members are eli- gible and encouraged to attend programs sponsored by the Ohio Student Librarians Association, whose expressed purpose is recruitment, due to the shortage of trained librarians. Fichthorn Reporter G Armbrust Mrs. Janet Loudner The Linguistic Arts Club is a special interest club open to any student taking one of the three foreign languages, French, Latin, and Spanish, offered at Miami Trace. Its seventeen members strive to gain more knowledge about foreign languages as well as the geography and culture of foreign lands. The club hopes to pass information concerning languages and backgrounds on to fellow students and future Linguistic Arts members bv donating various books, records, maps, or tapes to the library.
