s444i fa tt 'UttccficiC This has been a good year! Many op- portunities for growth have been available to you, our student body. It has been most rewarding to see you set high scholastic standards in the classroom. Then, too, it has been gratifying to observe our school spirit grow and to note the excellent repre- sentation given us by our extracurricular groups. To you, the graduating class and the underclassmen, each day brings a challenge for you to become more self-directing and capable of purposeful living. GUY M. Bachelor of Arts Bachelor of Science Wilmington College Master of Education Wittenberg University The doors of the Miami Trace High School opened September 10, 1963. As these doors opened, a new era in education was launched in our school district. Quickly the days have sped past and the first graduating class of our new school moves on to take its place in our community. During this time many changes have taken place. At first we were all getting acquainted with our new building and with one another. A new way, the Miami Trace Way, became a reality. Many honors have been awarded the students of Miami Trace this year. This first year has been a good year, but let us always strive to be better. The Miami Trace Way must always stand for the best . Good fortune, health and happiness to each member of our 1963 graduating class. 12
