Sxecutcve ecid WALTER W. BOYER Bachelor of Arts Cedarville College Master of Arts Ohio State University After thirty years of service with the public schools of the State of Ohio, it has been a satisfying experience to work in the Miami Trace School Dis- trict for the past eight years. To work and plan with my colleagues and the citizens of this school district and the building of a new high school has been richly rewarding. Although much has been accomplished on the secondary level much remains to be accom- plished on the elementary level. I am sure the cit- izens of the school district will attack the problems of the future with the same zest and spirit of coop- eration in the future as in the past. My sincerest congratulations to the Senior Class of 1963 and to all of the pupils of the Miami Trace High School for their contributions to the success of this great venture. @ou tty Suft€ni tte uCe tt Scdoolt To be first in almost anything car- ries a great deal of honor and prestige. As the years go by, I'm sure the mem- bers of the Class of 1963 of the Miami Trace High School will look back at this year with pride for having been the first class to cross the stage of the Miami Trace High School to receive their di- plomas. Being first also carries certain re- sponsibilities and this first is no excep- tion. Each graduating Senior has certain skills and talents; how they are developed and used will serve as an example for graduating classes through the years to come. May your school and community look with pride on each of you as you further develop your particular abilities in adult life. ROGER O. Bachelor of Arts Bachelor of Science Wilmington College Master of Education Wittenberg University The doors of the Miami Trace High School opened September 10, 1963. As these doors opened, a new era in education was launched in our school district. Quickly the days have sped past and the first graduating class of our new school moves on to take its place in our community. During this time many changes have taken place. At first we were all getting acquainted with our new building and with one another. A new way, the Miami Trace Way, became a reality. Many honors have been awarded the students of Miami Trace this year. This first year has been a good year, but let us always strive to be better. The Miami Trace Way must always stand for the best . Good fortune, health and happiness to each member of our 1963 graduating class. 12
