B LL... The University of Miami Student Club be- came the enchanted kingdom beneath the sea to portray the theme of Underwater Fantasy for the i954-55 Coronation Ball. Blue and green shadows danced on glittering sea shells, colorful starfish candle holder, and over- sized sea horses. The stage that was to be the cen- ter of attraction for the Coronation ceremony was decorated with two beautiful mermaids, a silver treasure chest which held gifts for Miss and Mr. Tech High, and an anchor from an old abandoned ship. What underwater kingdom would be complete without the fish of the deep? They too were present here taking on new and lovely shapes and colors. Father Neptune looked down upon the entire Ball from his place above the entrance. At the stroke of ten the court of Mr. and Miss Tech High were presented to the crowd. And finally, highlighting the entire affair was the presentation of Enid Polan, Miss Tech High '54-'55 and Don- nell Grice, Mr. Tech High '54-'55. .
