WVe dedicate the Sky- scraper 1954 to the memory of Mr. Sylvanus Landrum George. Instructor in Commercial Art, Commercial Signs and Display, and Advertising Art at Technical High School for eight years, Mr. George was an ardent promoter of the school, whose interest never flagged. Always willing to lend his helping hand when guidance was needed, he gave all of us faith, and hope, and strength to persevere in the face of difficulties. Most of all, he was a true friend, a friend of the kind not easily found in the world of today.
