Ualedictofzian ALVIN FOLAND Valedictorian Alvin I. Foland, son of.Slr. and Mrs. Sol Foland. 3885 N. WV. Sixth Street, has distin- guished himself hy maintaining a. straight A average throughout his three years of senior high school work. Alvin is a member of National Honor Society. Key Club of Tech High, Future Busi- ness Leaders of America, and the Rifle Team. of which group he is treasurer. ln 1954 he was sent as a delegate to the State convention of Key Club. A student in Elec- trical Construction shop, he was a member of the group that manu- factured the Lindsey Hopkins Vo- cational School's exhibit at Dinner Key for the Manufacturers, Ex- position in 1953. Alvin has decided to continue in the electrical field and plans to study electrical en- gineering, probably at the Univer- sity of Miami, beginning with the summer session of 1954.
