McKenzie and Dr. Frank Coret. co-chairmen of the Periodontia section, discuss a periodontia problem with Doctors Nlonroe Farber, XVilliam Davis, Tom Price and other members of the group Highlights The Dade County Dental Research Clinic has been aptly called one of the show cases of l.IlVS. lt has attracted nationwide attention, not simply because of Miami Author Philip Wylie's widely read story in Cgronet in 1950, but equally because of the excellent work being done here by Dade county's pioneer- ing entists. Through the Dental Clinic, students in Dental Assisting meet and work with the public while observing and assisting the 120 Dade county dentists who each give one day monthly to caring for the needs of indigent people certified to receive dental work. The Clinic is thoroughly equipped, with nine complete dental units, every modern instrument and all the su plies that are to be found in the finest dental offices, and all of this is of course at the command of eacli participating member of the Dental Research group.
