Veteran Bill Knowles is quoted as saying, In my three years at Tech as a member of the tennis team, I have never seen such good prospects as we have had the 1953 seasonf, On the line- up for Tech were Bill Knowles, captaing Martin Goldstein, No. 2 man, joe Lowe, No. 3 mang Louis Peacock, No. 4 man, and Roy Day as No. 5 man.
