This shop has for the past two years designed and built Tech High's Orange Bowl float and participated in many other activity programs. Students learning this type of advertising art have more opportunities to secure positions than in any of the other commercial art fields. Many Signs and Display graduates are now holding fine positions. Using the airbrush is Karen Fleming. liernoll Aton is making a plate for abstract signs 5 ,,. .pv-

Co- instructors are Mr. Bill Burton and Mr. Edwin Foster. ln 1947 the shop grew too large for its quarters so the aircraft propeller room was converted into the present-day commercial studio. Photography as a vocation, not as a hobby. is taught in this shop. Y 1
