The course of instruction covers all phases of Diesel: theory, major repairs, operation, and trouble shooting. Instruction is presented through discussion, demonstration, practical application, and field trips. Field trips have proved especially fruitful this year, as contacts made on these occasions have resulted in visits from Diesel experts who have presented invalu- able talks and demonstrations. The vocational school library has a large selection of reference books and other materials for research work, and the school furnishes textbooks for class and shop use.
