Voted the most intelligent girl in the senior class by her fellows, Beverly is living up to their expecta- tions for her as a contributing member of society. .. t ef- if J' SECOND HONOR S'l'ljDl'INT Jeannie Young, salutatorian of the class of February 1950, is continuing with her scholastic and extracurricular activities at the University of Miami, where she enrolled immediately after her graduation from Technical High school. Only six weeks after matriculating at the Uni- versity of Miami, Jeannie was selected as a member of the University's cheering squad, an honor unusual for a newcomer, hut in keeping with Jeannie's own record of achievement. Jeannie is preparing herself to become a teacher of physical education and is applying herself diligently to her studies toward this end. Voted the best all-around girl in the class, she has chosen a career which seems particularly appropriate for one of her abilities and interests.
