Second row-Nancy Eckert, Jack Wood, Maxine Wood, Douglas Landon, Kiki Ayvas, Carl Kimmel, Joan Loebig, Carter Cole, and Sara Williams The Merchandising Club at Tech High was organized in the fall of 1949 by a group of the students in the Merchandising Shop to study cur- rent merchandising problems and to promote entertainment for the club members. Membership is open to any Tech High student interested in mer- chandising. Meetings are held each week, at which time members present talks on different subjects to the club members. A number of beach parties and picnics have been held during the year and even greater activities are planned for next year. Preparing decorative illustrations for the advertising sec- tion in the 1950 Annual are James Adams, Jack Wood, Joan Loebig, L. S. Smith, instructor, and June Jenkins.
