X X .ZX .f X ffzy NK, Z' The following pages contain pictures of Commercial Cooking, Dental Assistants, Dental Technicians shops, and the Dental Clinic, which are non-rotating shops. The students in Commercial Cooking learn to cook and bake in the large-scale manner that is necessary for the management of today's hotels and restaurants. In addition to this knowledge, they learn to plan carefully balanced menus. Dental Assistants and Dental Technicians are two of the newest shops in the Technical High School program. Included with these two shops is the Dental Clinic, where ninety of Miami's dentists give their time instructing students in the methods of modern dentistry, The clinic also provides free dental care in Greater Miami for those who cannot afford it. Both of these shops are for girls only. Dental Assistants fthe name speaks for itself! are coached by the dentists in every way that will prepare them for practical work in the dental field. Dental Technician students obtain the skill essential for the art of making dental plates and other dental appurtenances. 5
