Michael Bell Kathleen Deegan Randy Adair distinguished himself in the field of athletics. He participated in basketball and track all through high school and won the Miami Herald Player of the Week Award for football. He was also a member of Interact service club. Michael Bell achieved scholastic recog- nition by qualifying as a National Merit semi-finalist. He was also a member of Delta Epsilon Phi, Mu Alpha Theta and the National Honor Society. He was a Student Council representative, as well as Interact president and a delegate to Boys' State. He was also a member of Palmetto's successful wrestling team. Fred Briggs was a member of Interact service club in his, junior and senior years. As an athlete, he participated in junior varsity football and baseball all through high school. ln basketball, Fred achieved recognition on the junior varsity and varsity teams, he won the Miami Herald Player of the Week award in his junior year. Karen Casper's achievements have cen- tered around academics. She was a mem- ber of Mu Alpha Theta, Spanish National Honor Society and the National Honor Society. She was also commended for her fine performance on the National Merit Exam. She was a Student Council repre- sentative and a member of Elite service club. Kathleen Deegan's main interest was in dramatics. She was a member of the Drama Club and Thespians, drama honor society, all through high school. As a senior, she was president of Thespians and participated in the drama depart- ment's two productions. She was a mem- ber of Mu Alpha Theta, Spanish Honor Society and National Honor Society, as well as a member of Echo service club. 211 hall of fame
