Lettermen promote interest in sports. After four years of inactivity, the Lettermen's Club was organized to give recognition to the outstanding athletes of school. Sponsored by Coach Barry Zimbler and Coach John Turner, forty boys qualified for the club Cobtaining a letter in any sport was the only qualificationj. Besides giving service to the school, the club sponsored a basketball game. With proceeds from the game, the lettermen donated the money they raised to Variety Children's Hospital. Officers of the club were: President Dan Wright, Vice-President Richard Pearlson, Treasurer Randy Adair, Secretary Fred Briggs, and Sergeant-at-Arms Tim Murray. Iettermen's 203
