Tennis Depth, teamwork, and unity helped the tennis team finish the season successfully. Only losing to the top three state tennis teams fCoral Gables, Miami Beach and Norlandj, the boys won six matches by shut- outs. Girls' team won five matches, losing only to the top three state teams. Panther netmen spent long practice hours at Royal Palm courts, under the direction of Coach John Turner. Angela lVliller and Rick Turetsky each were ranked in the state tournament as members of girls' and boys' doubles teams. Next year nine of the twelve starters will be returning lettermen. sessions at Royal Palm contributed to team success. Mike Burnside played in singles and doubles matches.
