German Club Beer and ale? Sure-root beer and ginger ale at the German Club's annual Oktoberfest. Under the direction of new sponsor Mrs. Linda Byer, Die Deutsche Brunderschaft's Homecoming float and skit reflected the color and variety of German life. Thousands of tissue flowers. Chicken wire. Cardboard, string, and scissors. Glue. Ho hum. Dark circles tomorrow. Caroling at the homes of German families Cpid- pid-doddle-dapj, forming a German band Ctata-tataj and working at the lVlardi Gras booth Cthump, thumpj were activities of the club. A bus filled with kids, cookies, candy, a tuba, a saxophone, an accordion, a trumpet, a German teacher, and a bus driver. Where was it going?
