We worked. b Constant barrages of Buy your balloon brought hard-earned quarters in during Homecoming fund- raising project. Doing their part for the community, the Interact boys helped at annual Channel 2 auc- tion. Sticky hands. Full tummies. You're a swell guy. Working with cystic fibrosis children at Christ- mas topped lnteract's projects. What a year. Through the help of Rotary and Mr. Walter DiMarko, advisor, service club members spent a total of 2520 hours helping others. Oops. I forgot. Friday nights at Elliott Key. Everyone realized what busy really was. Key Club Big brothers to the rescue. Key Club boys sponsored a baseball team for fatherless boys in Perrine. Three strikes-you're out. Every Saturday members guided the boys in sports and money-raising projects. Ho, ho, ho, and jingle, jingle. The club donated and dec- orated Christmas trees for the orphanage. Members Callas White Tornadoesj spent afternoons cleansing school desk: of pencil marks and other filth. Broken bottles and crushed paper cups were no match for Key's parking-lot sweepers. Key fKiwanis-sponsoredj entered a skit in Senior Stunt Night. They also erected a booth at the Mardi Gras. Step right up, folks . . . key club 137
