N S Works at Kendall Home Siestas were not permitted in the SNHS. Work highlighting the year in- cluded collecting food at Christmas for some needy families, aiding Spanish- speaking children to understand Ameri- can customs, and working at the Kendall home. Spanish National Honor Society proj- ects involved cooperation with com- munity agencies while helping members to develop a fluency and comprehension in Spanish. Spanish students in at least their third year of study having a 3.6 average in Spanish and a 3.0 over all scholastic average joined the club in January. Under the supervision of Mrs. J une Kundtz and Mrs. Joan Lueras, members enjoyed Spanish films and guest speakers at meet- ings. Climaxing the end of the year, the an- nual banquet honored graduating seniors. Speakers touched upon what SNHS mem- bers needed to expect when entering col- lege and careers. President ..... . . A 3.6 average in German for three semesters and a 3.0 over-all average is required for acceptance into the German Honor Society. German students attended a Faschings- ball at the end of January.
