E R 3 s-'Q i t 3...-1 C I K t Candy Fien, Editor-in-Chief Sue Salz, Organizations Editor and Roberta Jaffe, Managing Editor Laurie Siden and Lee Popham, Senior Editors Palm Echo taff Schoolis Largest Ever Consisting of the largest staff ever, Journalism Ill worked conscientiously in order to present the 1968 Palm Echo. Editor-in-Chief Candy Fien created new ideas and kept the many old traditions in order to produce a different yearbook. Advisors Mrs. Helene Peeples and Miss Joan Shubella helped the staff meet the five deadlines. Editors worked with the help of assistants to complete each of the sections promptly. To advance their knowledge, stall members attended the Florida Scholastic Press Convention. There they listened to well-known journalists who described various techniques. Becoming eiiicient in organizing layouts, writing copy, and selecting pictures were major require- ments of the staff.
