Initiates Spirit Week June ended the reign of a class that was really great. Senior Spirit Week, a new tradition founded by the Class of '68, consisted of a dress-up day, the Stunt Night, and an all-senior pep rally before the first Senior Football Night. Many hours were spent in preparation for a successful Senior Stunt Night in f October, Homecoming in November, and class play in April. A full house audience at Stunt Night first indicated a type of spirit which prevailed throughout the pro- duction of a skit and the first-place float during Homecoming. Hall of Fame Honors Fifteen Seniors Faculty members honored fifteen seniors by electing them to the Hall of Fame. They were chosen for their outstanding contributions to Palmetto and the com- munity. Nominations were both submitted and voted upon by the faculty on the basis of excellence attained in scholarship, leadership, citizenship and service.
