Team 'iembers rely on the coach's signals and their own judgment when stealing bases. enema t Baseball Team Retains Batting Average Under the direction of Coach Walt Chwalik, the Panthers faced such teams as Key West, Mays, Killian, and Gables. Bob Miller highlighted the game between Palmetto High School and Edison, pitch- ing a 6-1 victory. Pushing home two runs in the Curley game was John Moore. John Bruton tripled in the seventh for a 4-3 win. In a wild slugfest the base- ball team lost to Miami Beach 2-0.
