Track Team Cindermen Excel In '68 Taking off with speed and ability, the Palmetto Panther track men finished as a county power. Cindermen, assisted by Coach John Patsy, showed strength in the running events. Consistent relay winners for the Pan- ther team were Bruce Park and John Parks. Sprinters Robert Pace, Scott Pfister, West Spencer, and Pete Gleman opened up the season with full speed, and Malcolm Thomas olfered some top notch competition in the half mile. Offer- ing valuable points to the total team score was pole vaulter Joe Hukle.
