DDB Attends an Oktoberfest Festivity and German foods constituted the Die Deutsche Brunderschafts' annual Oktoberfest. Directed by Sponsor Herr Rohromoser, members partook in school activities such as Panther Prowl, Senior Stunt Night, and the Mardi Gras. DDB club members also sold dough- nuts to raise money for the State German Convention held in the spring. Selected students from Gennan classes represented the school. Led by President Wes Spencer, the club received top honors from the Ger- man Counsel and special recognition for having the only German band in the state. President ...... . . . To raise funds, students sponsored a candy sale early in the year. Their financial aid made it possible for Latin National Honor So- ciety to partake in the state-wide Latin Forum. JCL, directed by Mr. Ivan Davis, stimulated an interest in the study of customs, literature, and language of an- cient Roman life.
