Caroling at a hospital during the holiday and having a party to make the Christmas corsages as a money-making project con- tinued to keep the club busy. Cultural meetings took place with en- tertainment and information concerning the customs, traditions, and histories of Spanish-speaking countries. Guided by Mrs. Aide Helbig and Mrs. Rita Moore, Spanish Club held an end- of-the-year banquet honoring members for working on Homecoming and the Mardi Gras booth. DDB Attends an Oktoberfest Festivity and German foods constituted the Die Deutsche Brunderschafts' annual Oktoberfest. Directed by Sponsor Herr Rohromoser, members partook in school activities such as Panther Prowl, Senior Stunt Night, and the Mardi Gras. DDB club members also sold dough- nuts to raise money for the State German Convention held in the spring. Selected students from Gennan classes represented the school. Led by President Wes Spencer, the club received top honors from the Ger- man Counsel and special recognition for having the only German band in the state. President ...... . . .
