Drama Club Entertains Hope School Members of Drama Club participated in the Homecoming festivities with a comedy-tragedy mask float. Under the direction of Mr. Sam Daniels they enter- tained elementary schools, Hope School, and Kendall Home with two productions: Peter Pan and Alice In Wonderland. Rummage sales at Tropicaire Drive- in's Swap Meet provided an effective fund raising method. Members also contrib- uted an original booth at Mardi Gras. Led by President Tina Warrington, anyone with an interest in the theater was encouraged to join. By participating in productions both in and out of school, prospective Thespians earned points. 'Avant Garde Begins Sidewalk Show Works of art by students in all courses constituted L'Avant Garde's sidewalk show and sale, a first for the school. L'Avant Garde members submitted de- signs for the Christmas card sale and accepted were those by Bruce Bruner, Brenda Way, Candy Jernigan, and Doug Walker. Headed by Mrs. Carole Roberts, mem- bers made papier mache toys for children in Variety Children's Hospital and also hung works in the school's display win- dows.
