Drama Club Entertains Hope School Members of Drama Club participated in the Homecoming festivities with a comedy-tragedy mask float. Under the direction of Mr. Sam Daniels they enter- tained elementary schools, Hope School, and Kendall Home with two productions: Peter Pan and Alice In Wonderland. Rummage sales at Tropicaire Drive- in's Swap Meet provided an effective fund raising method. Members also contrib- uted an original booth at Mardi Gras. Led by President Tina Warrington, anyone with an interest in the theater was encouraged to join. By participating in productions both in and out of school, prospective Thespians earned points. Installs Sprinkler Unit Installing a sprinkler system between the library and the 500 Wing demonstrated to the school the engineering ability of members of Junior Engineering Techni- cal Society. Guest speakers from Pitts- burgh Testing Corporation and the Uni- versity of Miamils Oceanography Depart- ment provided members with a unique opportunity to become acquainted with men in the field of science. Engineering films and a difiicult laser demonstration lent interest to the monthly meetings. Saturday field trips to Bell Telephone Switching Station and Turkey Point Nuclear Power Plant gave J.E.T.S. members insight into the future possi- bilities of scientific exploration.
