Key Club Repaints the Cafeterias Proceeds from sales of Palmetto t-shirts enabled Key Club members to repaint the cafeteria, construct a iioat for Home- coming, and finance general improve- ments to the school. The t-shirt sale con- stituted a first for Palmetto and the stu- dents enthusiastically supported it. Members emphasized community serv- ice with the organization of Halloween and Christmas parties for a local orphan- age and worked at the TV Channel 2 auction. Under the supervision of faculty Ad- visor Donald Wood, Key members ob- tained a broad background of career opportunities through a program of guest speakers, while at the same time Key sponsored a series of Vocational broad- casts for the entire student body.
