Along with providing Thanksgiving foods to Camillus House, the girls worked at Thrift Shop for the Cancer Society and served as Candy Stripers at local hospi- tals. In a combined effort with Interact, LJ F gave a Christmas party for the Insti- tute patients at Jackson Hospital. Sponsoring a sock hop, candy sale, and bake sales under the supervision of Miss Everitt, Mrs. Peeples and Miss Wayne enabled the club to donate a new color projector to the school. Giving their May Day party at Haven School, serving as guides at the Science Fair, helping at the Channel 2 auction, and installing new officers at the tea in the spring concluded the year.
