Increased enrollments in honors classes in- volved more students and placed a new empha- sis on the maturing individual. In addition to four years of required Eng- lish, elective classes in world literature. vow cabulary, mythoiogy, speech. drama, iourna1- ism. and humanities offered students the op- portunity to excel in English.
