PEP CLUB Bolsters Morale 0f Teams With F ervent Support Leading enthusiastic students in the support of athletic events was the responsibility of the mem- bers of Pep Club. Under the direction of the advisor, Miss Singletary, the Pep Club planned several projects that helped promote spirit through- out the entire student body. The organization, which included the membership of the cheerlead- ers, sponsored a sock hop following one of the foot- ball games. During Homecoming Week the Pep Club held the annual Best-Decorated-Car Contest and provided a handsome trophy for the winner. Best Tags were also sold by the club members. Through the Pep Club, each member was afford- ed the opportunity to further the school spirit of both himself and his fellow students. Participants ..
