Using the new laboratories they listen to pre- pared tapes to acquire the proper pronunciation and speed. Spanish is emphasized due to Norlandts location in a bilingual community. The reading and writing of those enrolled in French and German disclose the vast- ness of that country's rich, cultural background. Latin students first learn the grammatical fundamentals, and then proceed to the study and translation of excerpts from the works of Caesar, Cicero, and Virgil.
