The Art Club, under the guidance of Mrs. assady and Mr. DeSmet, provides a means for aspiring rt students to share ideas and techniques while render- ng a valuable service to the school and its organizations. he members, who must maintain a HB average, apply heir dexterous skills to further beautify the school. Activities, such as painting the jump circle in the gym 11d providing the colorful activities calendars in the howcase, were among the various services performed by he student artists. Members contributed to the success f the school dances by decorating the cafeteria and esigning publicity posters. Varicolored welcome signs displayed throughout the chool for the amigos were painted by the Art Club embers. They did silk-screening for organizations, sold ostcards, and presented their exhibits at the art show.
