Roman Life, History Relived by Latin Club Appreciation and a more thorough knowledge of ancient Rome was the prime objective of the Latin Club. However, imparting a fuller comprehension of the practical and cultural value of the classics consti- tuted an integral facet of the club,s activities. Established in 1960 for purely cultural purposes, membership is restricted to students who have either completed two years of Latin, or who are presently en- rolled in Latin classes, and who express an interest in learning more of the Latin language and its culture.
