On May 20, The prom sparklecl amidsf TounTain lighTs and beaufiful gardens aT The Playboy Plaza on Miami Beach. BoTh seniors and iuniors aTTended The scenic memory. ln order To obTain a free prom TiclceT, seniors were required To have sold over 525.00 worTh of magazines during lasT year's Junior Magazine Drive. Bal- loons. sfreamers, fancy Table arrange- menTs, prom programs and favors, and The band were The resulTs of The maga- zine drive which ToTaled over S5,000. The evening was magnificenf for all couples who walfzed endlessly in The grand ballroom. For sTruggling Through Twelve hard years of endless sfudying, The diploma was proof of all accomplishmenTs. BuT. There were some ThaT excelled. These were The Silver KnighTs, awards pre- senfed by The Miami Herald To fourTeen ouTsTanding seniors in each high school.
