Presented by the Choral Department. this spec- tacular production played three nights to full houses. its total profits amounting to approximately one thousand dollars. Not only was this the first produc- tion of The King and I in Dade County. it was also the first time a Dade County High School has presented a complete musical comedy. Countless hours of study and hard work. under the direction of Miss ,loan Owen. made this produc- tion a possibility. The cast and all who participated practiced diligently for weeks preceding the per-

STEPPING HIGH as the band played her song, Donna Dinge- man performed for the 1960 Miami Jackson Minstrel audience.
