The outcome- .1 victory for the XVard0gs- 26-2. The dogs then went to 'loplin and kept alive a three year winning streak by knocking them over 6-tl. Twenty-six to nothing was the final score of the Pittsburg- Miami game. The W'ardogs started a successful conference record by whip- ping the Pryor Tigers 12-7. This was the ninth straight con- terence win over a two year span. The Afton Eagles flew into Miami and held the blue and white Wtirclogs to a scoreless tie. The Wfardogs went into the game with the Vinita Hornets with their teeth bared. The results were a 6-0 victory for the Miami athletes. A rally early in the game dumped a 13-12 defeat into the laps of the Huskies of Pawhuska as the fighting Wfardogs of Miami took their eleventh straight conference win. The crucial game of the year came up with the Tigers of Broken Arrow but the Tigers were turned away by the rough and ready Miami boys. The score was 7-6. Miamis conference record was broken by the Claremore Zebras at 12 straight games. The Claremore boys buried the Warclogs 55-0. The Dogs once again could hold their heads up as they spill- ed the Nowata lronmen 12-6. The heartbreak of the year came in the last game when the Sandites of Sand Springs pushed over a 20-19 victory over the XVarclogs of Miami.
