DEDICATICN During her twenty-six years at Miami Senior High School, Mrs. Sallilu Crawford has been of inestimable help and inspiration to both faculty members and students. Although she has many duties of her own to perform, she is always willing to look for ways in which she can be of help to someone else. She organized and worked with con- testants in the X-Club speech contest and with seniors who tried out for senior speeches. She was one of the few faculty members who worked on the Varsity Scholarship Award committee. YVhenever an intern came to Miami Senior High Mrs. Craw- ford made him feel right at home with her south- ern hospitality. Before becoming curriculum assistant, Mrs. Crawford served as an English teacher, counselor and guidance chairman. Her office of curriculum assistant is unique in that she works with teachers -individually and in groups-interns, and the prin- cipal as well as with students. Her sincere devotion and interest in M.H.S. are shown by the many ways in which she has helped others. For these qualities and for your many other won- derful attributes, it is with deepest respect, appre- ciation, and admiration that we dedicate to you, Mrs. Crawford, our 1960 MIAHI.

The heart of our school, Stingtown, U.S.A., doesn't lie in its architecture, liowezferg it lies in the end- less activities that take place in it and produce the learning, inspiration, friendships, triumphs, pride in present accomplishments, and determina- tion concerning the future.
