Some students actu- ally work part. oi' the school day under the Co- operative Business Education program. Many stu- dents work lor secretarial certificates which are awarded to seniors who have maintained a high average in all of the required business subjects. Awards are also given to those who gain high speed in typing and in shorthand. The business education department serves Mi- anii High in numerous other ways. The mimeo- graph room workers operate a duplicating machine which produces all of the mimeographed work used by the sehool.
