Miss Matilda Corbly Miss Margaret Monroe W Y' Hub of Activity The job of the main office of Miami High is a varied one. The services of this office range from handling incoming and outgoing telephone calls to answering and receiving all of the school's cor- respondence. One of the essential jobs that the office performs for the seniors is to check the number of credits that each graduating senior has obtained. This job, undertaken toward the end of each year, includes making up the list of graduates. One of the most painstaking tasks performed by the office is making Ullt schedules and making 259 142 2 Miss Corbly gives helplul suggestions to students desiring information about their schedules. any necessary corrections after assignments have been made. A copy of each students assignment card and cumulative record is kept on file in the office. The mimeographed morning announcements and the daily bulletin over the PA. system origi- nate from the main office to supply each student with current information about school activities. Another service to the seniors is the compiling and sending' out of college transcripts which are necessary before admittance to colleges and uni- versities around the country.
