Finished Works are displayed in the library, then taken to Dinner Key Auditorium for county com- petition. School winners receive superior, excellent and honorable mention awards. We greeted our first foreign exchange students this year and a new tradition was born . . . Gerdika Hesche from West Germany and Peter Twentyman from England have become an integral part of activities, their friendliness endearing them to everyone.

Two traditions influence our future. College Night where representatives from many colleges and universities acquaint students with the opportunities and varied experiences available to them at institutions of higher learning. The Father-Son Banquet is an inspiring event held on George Washington's birthday. Leaders from the nation, state, and community meet with our boys and their fathers. This year's speaker was Robert T. Gates, co-ordinator of the National Defense Act. Head table inclnded Principal Williarrz Dancan and Speaker Gater. Cadette trainees ret this lonely table for the traditional Fatlaer-Son Bananet where fathers and Jonr finclad- ing honorary fatloer Bill Tbonzarj, enjoy derrert. ,
