a4z?f' Scion! ,L Yes, some say it is just another school house. They are cropping up, you know, here and there to procreate an educated generation. Yet, how can an ordinary passer- by envision it as you and I? How can they see this long, trim structure of brick and mortar as a ship just put into port? See those folks at the pier, young adults with life's new responsibilities, and old- sters, hair touched with gray. They journeyed on that vessel one day. Look! There is the crew standing, waving at the rail, waiting to try out their sea legs on the shore of life. For some, it has been their last voyage. They are the hesi- tant ones. For others, there are still voyages ahead over waters calm and rough when the ship sets sail again next fall. The gangplank is down! It is strange how some would call this graduation. Yes, there are those who stop at the corner, driving off hurriedly on their busy way with only a fleeting glance at another new school. There is a slight chance they'll notice the robins overhead. You and I, though, - we know they are really sea gulls! ! - William Tyler, Faculty Member
