She won the Best Modern Dancer Award in herjunior year. She started dancing nine years ago. Denise has visited Venezuela twice as a guest artist for the Corps of Ballet. Shes won two dancing competitions in Ft. Lauderdale qualifying her to compete in New York. She has been offered a scholarship to New York to perform at the American Ballet Theatre but she refused it so that she could finish high school.
