' nv I Aspiring lab researcher BY: ANA HERNANDEZ For the past year Raul Arrazcaeta has participated in the Community Lab Research Program directed by the Llniversity of Miami. Raul spent many hours each week studying the effect of noise on the cardial vascular system of patients at Jackson Memorial Hospital. By using animals for ex- perimental purposes, Raul wrote a research paper which proposed methods of reducing noise levels This Auditory Research Program has given me the experience and a feeling of accomplishment l would have never obtained any other place, stated Raul. Driving tugs, loading and un- loading baggage among many other things is a typical day at work for ' 4 Amen. , 2 A He works on the weekends from 6:00 pm to 1:30 am too.
